Contains the Tompkins County Gem and Mineral Club Newletter Vol. 1, Nos. 13–14 (July 1970 to August 1970); the Tompkins County Gem and Mineral Club Newletter Vol. 2, Nos. 2–3 (October 1970 to November 1970); the Cayuga Gem Vol. 1, Nos. 1–4 (December 1970 to March 1971), a partial copy of 6 (? June 1971), and 8 (August 1971); and the Cayuga Gem Vol. 2, Nos. 1–3 (September 1971–November 1971), 5–10 (January 1972–June 1972). There are multiple copies of some issues. A folder from Dr. Katherine Palmer's office containing the club's constitution and by-laws, a member list, field trip information, a flyer, a New York State Museum geological publications list, and newsletters. Vol. 1 nos. 1, 2, 4, 6–8, 10–14, and Vol. 2 nos. 1–3 of the club newsletter and Vol. 1 no. 1 of the Cayuga Gem are included. [Currently stored in Box 6/30 with PRI Institutional Files.]

  Folder 5: Correspondence and Notes, n.d.

Miscellaneous correspondence and notes related to the Tompkins County Gem and Mineral Club collected by Dr. Katherine V. W. Palmer, particularly from the years when she was president. [There are a number of flyers and brochures related to other clubs as well, but this folder has been left as found.]
